Baby Jesus

Yesterday our church put on a Christmas pageant.  It was so good!  There was a lot of great music, a skit, and the Christmas Story.  Our sweet little baby got to play the part of Baby Jesus!  He did awesome!  The program lasted about an hour (his part was only a minute or two).  I was prepared with toys and a bottle just in case there was a melt down, but he didn't need them!  In fact, Hudson slept through his part and watched the rest of the show without making a noise!  haha  We are so lucky to have such a wonderful baby!  Hudson's Aunt Jessica came to watch his big acting debut and so did Grandma Farmer and Grandma's good friend Brenda.  After the show, many people came up to us and complimented Hudson on doing such a great job.  We were also told by a lot of people that we have such a good and cute baby! haha  All things a mother LOVES hearing!

This is a picture from Sunday night of Hudson with Mary and Joseph.

Milestone

Today, for the very first time, Hudson slept in his crib. It was only for a two hour nap, but hey, I'll take what I can get! I put him in his crib awake and swaddled. He fussed (not cried) for five minutes then drifted off to sleep! Being the paranoid person that I am, I came in and checked on him every so often and kept the monitor close. He did so good! I was able to exercise and get a shower before waking him up! Yes, I woke him up after two hours.... He probably would have slept for hours, but I need to keep him on some kind of schedule. Anyway, it was an exciting moment!

It's cookie time!

This past Saturday both my parents and Steve's parents were at our house for our annual cookie baking!  This year, we made far less than we have ever made, but we didn't need thousands of cookies anyway!  We had such a nice time visiting with everyone!

Just Another Day

Well, it's that time of year...  That means that Steve is super busy with work and Hudson and I get to spend A LOT of mommy & baby time together!  I love it (spending time with Hudson, not that my husband is working long hours).

This is what my morning consisted of!  Hudson wakes up and is the happiest person on earth!  I am the luckiest mom!

Bath Time!

This might be my favorite picture of all time!  Hudson LOVES baths!

I think we are going to make hand and foot print Christmas ornaments later today when Hudson wakes up from his nap.  Hopefully I will have some time to do laundry and some other household chores.  Who knows...  Only 11 days until Christmas!

First Family Pictures!

The following pictures were taken by Mary Lashbrook Lawson at Honey Heart Photography. She was amazing to work with!  Hudson seemed to really like her, and she was great with him!  I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Our little Christmas present!  We couldn't ask for anything more.

He loved sitting in the box!

Our very first family of three picture!

The night before these were taken, I was scrambling to wrap all the presents for under the tree!

Hudson got sleepy about half way through the shoot.  It's alright though, he looks so cute when he is sleeping!

NAKED BABY!  Hudson LOVES being naked.

Baby feet!  Look at those tiny toes!

Our family of three plus Sadie!  The only one missing from this picture is Milo...but we couldn't a) trust him outside and b) get him to sit still long enough.

We had so much fun getting our first family pictures taken!  I can't believe we are a family of THREE!  The last time Mary took our pictures, we were having our engagement pictures taken!  It was wonderful working with her again.  She is so fun, does a great job, and is reasonably priced.  We couldn't be happier with how they turned out!
