Hudson can write his own name!

Huddy came home from preschool today and was coloring at the kitchen table while I made him lunch.  I asked him if he could write the letter H.  To my surprise he could!  Then I went letter by letter through his name.  When we got to the letter S he asked if that was the snake letter!  haha  I am completely blown away.

I don't know if it was becoming a big brother, starting, preschool or a combination of things, but Hudson has changed so much in the past few months.  He is communicating so well and able to figure things out and analyze situations.   He is such a smart little boy with a sweet heart.  I love my Huddy Buddy!  He's my favorite little boy on the whole planet!

Alexis is 10 months old!

We have officially hit double digits!

My sweet little Lexis is 10 months old today.  She has developed a fun little personality and loves to laugh!  Alexis is still 100% in love with her big brother.  And I am in love with both of them!

Alexis,

You are such a fun easy baby!  You are happy to go anywhere and do anything as long as I (or Huddy) am with you.  I can't tell you how fun it is to have a little girl who is independent but also enjoys cuddling.  Every morning when you wake up, my heart melts as soon as you smile at me!  Your hair is wild and out of control, but it is absolutely beautiful!  I think you are the most beautiful baby girl I have ever laid eyes on.  I can't ever imagine a time when you weren't here....  isn't that weird.  I love you so much and look forward to many more days filled with laughter and exploration!

At 10 months Alexis:

• has 8 teeth (4 on top & 4 on the bottom)
• Has long curly brown hair
• can CRAWL (as of December 28th) and get around easily!  Watch out world!
• Nurses about 4-5 times a day
• Sleeps through the night (11 hours usually)
• Eats baby food 3-4 times a day
• Loves clapping her hands
• Has a favorite toy, Sophie the giraffe
• Wears size 3 diapers
• Wears size 12 months clothes
• points to things she wants
• can pick up small things with her thumb and finger
• LOVES playing on the trampoline with all the balls
• Loves getting her teeth brushed
• LOVES bath time with her big brother!  
• "talks"  all the time
• bites EVERYTHING!

I couldn't be more in love!

She's even cute when she cries!  How pitiful is this?!?!?

Christmas 2014

This was an especially wonderful Christmas for many reasons.

1)  It was Alexis' very first Christmas and she is at such a fun age.  She is alert and gets excited!  I loved how happy she was all day.  She liked ripping the paper.  It was awesome!

2)  Hudson "gets it" this year.  He had been wanting and asking Santa for a train table.  So a train table he got along with many many other gifts!  He was so excited.  It made me so happy to be able to give him a magical Christmas.  :)

We woke up Christmas morning and started opening gifts at 8:30.  The last gift wasn't unwrapped until after 2:00pm!  It was awesome!
