Hudson is 13 months old!

My "big" boy is thirteen months old today!  I decided to continue the monthly posts and pictures because he is just changing so much now and I want to be able to look back and remember this time.

The older Hudson gets, the harder it is to get a good picture of him.  My camera (a point and shoot & my iPhone) just weren't cutting it any more.  All of my pictures were turning out blurry.  So, for my birthday this year I got a new Canon T3!  It is perfect for what I need it for and is very user friendly.  As far as these types of cameras go, this one was the best price.  I can't tell you how happy I am with this purchase and can see a huge difference in picture quality.

I know I keep saying this, but I think 13 months is now my favorite baby age.  You have such a funny personality and can really communicate with us.  You understand what we are saying (most of the time) and respond accordingly.  I love how you have started repeating words and phrases that your daddy and I say.  It is so sweet!  You have gotten to that age where you are a little clingy.  Again, I know this makes me a bad person, but I secretly enjoy it.  You follow me around the house and are always at my feet.  When I am holding you and go to hand you to someone else, you cling to me with your arms and legs!  Every time you do it, my heart melts.  Have I mentioned how funny you are?  You are a little explorer and laugh at everything.  Your little laugh is still the best sound I have ever herd.  It is contagious.  I love you so much Hudson!

At Thirteen Months Hudson:

• Wears size 4 diapers 
• Wears 12-18 month clothing
• Has "real" big boy shoes
• Can say:  bye bye, up, uh-o, wow, In,  mama, dada & you try to say I love you
• Started copying actions as well as words (you try to brush your own hair)
• Have two teeth in and one on top that just started poking through (3 teeth total so far)
• Eats a lot more adult food (meatloaf, potatoes, chicken, sausage...)
• Loves LOVES loves Sadie and Milo.  He especially loves it when Milo gives him kitty kisses on his head and when Sadie eats out of his hands.
• Sleeps from 7:00pm-7:00am almost every night!!! 
• Takes one good nap a day.
• Eats 3 meals and 2 snacks daily
• Gives great big random attack hugs!  
• Can make air kisses (when he wants to)
• Constantly "talks" 
• Is very cautious of adult strangers, but loves other kiddos
• LOVES his daddy!  They tickle each other and Hudson tries to copy everything Steve does.

And just because I can, here are some pictures I took of Hudson yesterday.  I love his bath pictures. There is just something so cute and sweet about babies in the tub!
